  • Who do you more closely identify with?  Jim or Marty?  
  • What was your favorite story in the book?  Why?
  • What was your favorite aspect of the book?  The biking adventure?  The friendship of Jim and Marty?  The history?  The short chapters and half-blank page at the end of each one? 
  • How did the trip change Jim?  Marty?
  • What memories of your own adventure(s) did the book evoke?
  • Has the book inspired you to get on a bike?  And potentially do this trip, or a portion of it?
  • If you could pick one word that summarizes what the book meant for you, what would it be?
